ACCREDITATION OF TRAINING COMPANIES

 

In the Dual Training System, the training partner of the TVI is an accredited training company. The ‘Training Company’ is an enterprise that is involved in the production of goods and/or services which takes in trainees or apprentices, having an in-company trainer, a training plan that corresponds to a skills standard, curricula or syllabus and a rotation plan. They take in trainees in order to improve quality, productivity and competitiveness of their business.

It is necessary that training company should be an accredited business enterprise to ensure that real and authentic training happens in the enterprise.

The requirements for the accreditation of training companies are as follow:

  • Registered business enterprise under the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
  • Must have an In-Company Trainer
  • Member of Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. or any Business Membership Organization (BMO)
